edikt2 Workshop
13th June 1:30pm
Room G26, Rutherford Building
Data Management
Computational research can generate vast amounts of data. The Lattice QCD community has a tool, DiGS (Distributed Grid Storage), to deal with the data they generate. DiGS can be applied to other areas of computational research. This session will cover DiGS and will conclude with an open discussion on data management, including bring-your-own-PowerPoint.

ECDF
The Edinburgh Compute and Data Facility (ECDF) is a new multi-processor computer available for researchers around the University to use. This session, led by IS, will include what the ECDF is, how to get access and how much it costs.
