edikt2 Technical Workshops
This page contains links to the minutes and presentations from the regular edikt2 technical workshops. These workshops are gatherings of all the technical staff involved in edikt2 activities and other interested parties. The workshops generally consist of presentations from a small number of the edikt2 activities followed by discussions. These meetings are open to the wider University of Edinburgh community and beyond.
Purpose of the Technical Workshops
A major purpose of edikt2 is dissemination of expertise. To that end these regular workshops of all the edikt2 staff will take place where experiences can be shared and problems discussed. To ensure that eDIKT has an impact beyond the University of Edinburgh, these workshops are open to all Scottish universities and in particular the University of Glasgow. These workshops will provide a forum where Scottish research computing users can present their experiences and share solutions to the common difficulties faced.
These workshops therefore help to broaden the impact of edikt by developing and supporting a wider community within the University of Edinburgh that use research computing.
