HPCx is one of the UK's supercomputers and is currently the 65th fastest machine in the world. The machine itself is actually housed in Daresbury, England.

The HPCx Consortium, namely UoE HPCX Ltd, is led by the University of Edinburgh, with the Council for the Central Laboratory of the Research Councils (CCLRC) and IBM. EPCC provides the University of Edinburgh's contribution. The project is funded by EPSRC and the other UK Research Councils.
