The aim of this project is to apply some software engineering techniques to an existing geological model. The model is capable of simulating siliciclastic and carbonate sedimentation. The model is unique in that it is the only geological forward model to include residence time, a proxy for carbonate supersaturation. This yeilds complicated features such as autocycles using only a process-based methodology.
