Introduction
Objective 2 of the project brief was to provide a Grid portal giving research computing users access to facilities, documentation and assistance. The aim of the PortalActivity is to provide this grid portal. The portal was developed jointly by NeSC and EPCC. The edikt2 portal is a focal point for collaboration and use of computing facilities by the edikt2 Partners. The portal currently consists of a wiki (these pages) which is created using MoinMoin. It also contains several MailingLists for use by the edikt2 project members. Future extensions involve the ECDF and access to this facility.
