A Data Grid for Cell Biology
Between October and December 2006, a feasibility study was conducted, to investigate the extent to which experience and technology from the computational particle physics community could be applied to data management challenges within the cell biology community.
A copy of the final report from the study is available from here (PDF, February 2007). A key outcome of the study was an STFC PIPSS programme project, which is described in more detail here.
